Giorgi was born on December 30, 1991 in Macerata, Italy, where her parents moved from Argentina.
Camila started attending the tennis academy at the age of five at the instigation of her father, who still assists her in the training process. In addition, for some time she attended gymnastics classes.
She made her debut at the adult pro level at the age of fifteen. Three years later she managed to win the ITF championship in Poland for the first time. Two months later Camila was successful again at the ITF championship. Between 2010 and 2011 the Italian tennis player won twice more ITF tournaments as well as playing in the main part of the WTA and Grand Slam tournaments, breaking through qualification for Wimbledon.
