In 2020, the athlete reached the quarterfinals of Grand Slam tournaments for the first time in her career. Ons Jabeur defeated Johanna Konta, Caroline Garcia, Caroline Wozniacki, and Qiang Wang in the Australian Open but lost to eventual champion Sofia Kenin.
