Camila first picked up a racket at the age of five. Before that, she was involved in gymnastics. She started her professional career in 2006. Five years later, she managed to break into the main grid of the WTA tournament, another year later to enter the Top 100. In 2015 Georgie won the title in Hertogenbosch, and in 2018 she won the title in Linz.
Her favorite surface is hard, her favorite stroke is on the forehand. In addition to tennis, she loves boxing, soccer and motorcycle racing.
