Simona Halep lost to Ashleigh Barty at a tournament in Sydney

The first racket of the world, Romanian Simona Halep, lost to Australian Ashleigh Barty, who occupies the 15th line of the WTA rating, with a score of 4/6, 4/6 in the second round of the Sydney tournament.

The match lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes. During this time, the 27-year-old Halep noted only two breaks, and the 22-year-old Barty completed five aces and implemented four break points.

Earlier in personal meetings was 2-0 in favor of Halep. Barty’s next opponent in Sydney International competitions will be determined later.
