Dutchwoman Kiki Bertens commented on her victory over German Angelique Kerber in Stuttgart and the upcoming meeting with Czech Petra Kvitova.
“It seems to me that the match turned out to be quite solid, better than the previous one. I am pleased with my performance. Of course, I did less aces, but Kerber plays well at the reception. You never know what might happen. Match with Kvitova promises to be difficult. Petra spends a great season and demonstrates great tennis, so it will be a real battle. I look forward to seeing you and I hope that I can play no worse than in the quarterfinals, ”the WTA press service quoted Bertens as saying.
