Belarus Victoria Azarenka reached her first semi-final in a year. The last time she succeeded in the competition in Miami in 2018. She will compete with German Angelique Kerber for the finals in Monterrey.
“The match with Kerber will be difficult. She is an excellent tennis player and a real champion. In the past, we met several times on the court, and the fights always took place in a bitter struggle. Now I want to evaluate my level in the match with her,” Azarenka quoted the press service of WTA.
