Su-Wei Hsieh achieved victory in the quarterfinals of the ASB Classic tournament

Taiwan representative Su-Wei Hsieh went to the semifinals of the competition in Auckland, defeating Spaniard Sara Sorribes-Tormo in two sets – 6/3, 6/2. For 1 hour and 17 minutes of the match, the 28th WTA rating number, 33-year-old Su-Wei Hsieh sold six break points and made a mistake once. 22-year-old Sorribes-Tormo, occupying the 86th line of the world table of ranks, twice took the submission of opponents and made three double mistakes. Athlete from Taiwan remains the leader in personal meetings of rivals.
