St.Petersburg Ladies Trophy. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova broke the barrier of the first round

The 32nd World No., Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, beat Frenchwoman Alize Cornet, who is 50th in the WTA ranking, with a score of 7/5, 7/6 (4) at the start of the St. Petersburg tournament.

The meeting lasted 1 hour and 59 minutes. During this time, the 27-year-old Pavlyuchenkova completed two aces, made a mistake three times in filing and sold six break points, and the 29-year-old Cornet filed it once, made two double mistakes and made five breaks.
