For 1 hour 19 minutes of the match, Sloane made two aces and three breaks, making a mistake when serving only once. Whereas Petra once blew right through and realized one break point, making three double faults.
Score in the personal meetings, opponents became 3-0 in favor of the American. In the semifinals of the tournament in Madrid, Stevens will play either with the Dutch Kiki Bertens, or with the Czech Petra Kvitova.
