Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina failed to reach the 1/8 finals of the tournament in Rome, losing to Belarusian Victoria Azarenka – 6/4, 1/6, 5/7.

The sixth racket of the world, 24-year-old Elina, took the rival seven times and made eight double faults. 29-year-old Victoria, who is on the 51st position in the world table of ranks, sold ten break points, completed one ace and was wrong four times when serving.
