Czech tennis player Karolina Pliskova commented on her victory in the second round of the tournament in Rome.
“I think I had a good match, although the conditions were very difficult. A strong wind blew and it was cold, so we both failed to show our best tennis. However, I played a little more confidently and acted well on the pitch. It seems to me that the submission was the key to victory. The rival was wrong too often, but I managed to use it. Starting the match is never easy, and at local competitions – especially. So I’m just glad I went further, ”the WTA press service quoted Pliskova as saying.
