Hubert Hurkacz Career
The young tennis player Hubert Hurkacz was born on February 11, 1997, in Wroclaw. He began playing tennis when he was 5 years old. Hubert was introduced to the sport by his mother. As a little boy he observed how Zofia was playing tennis and he wanted to try it himself. The athlete’s first teachers were his mother and father Krzysztof. Later the guy signed up for training and played more and more often. When playing tennis, he always put his idol Roger Federer as an example. At the same time, Hurkacz was fond of basketball and motorcycle racing, but his choice still settled on tennis.
Hubert began his adult ATP tour appearances in 2015. In a couple of years, he was able to win two ITF events. Hurkacz won his first Challenger event in 2018 in Poznan.

Hubert won his first ATP title at Winston Salem in 2019, defeating Benoit Paire,- 6/3,3/6,6/3 in the final match. The Pole had two more years to win the next ATP competition.
The year 2021 was very successfully for Hubert as he won 3 ATP tournaments, including a Masters’s tournament. Hubert defeated Jannik Sinner of Italy on 7/6,6/4 in his final match at the Miami event.
