Elise Mertens became champion in Doha

The 21st racket of the world, Belgian Elise Mertens, beat Romanian Simona Halep, who is in third place in the WTA ranking, with a 3/6, 6/4, 6/3 score in the Doha finals.

Tennis players spent on the court 2 hours 13 minutes. During this time, 23-year-old Mertens completed two aces, made a mistake six times in filing and sold seven break points, and 27-year-old Halep filed four times, made four double mistakes and made six breaks.
