The 18th racket of the world, American tennis player Madison Keys, in the third round of the Volvo Car Open competition, beat Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, who is 31st in the world ranking, 7/5, 6/2.
For 1 hour and 17 minutes of the match, Madison made four aces and five breaks, mistaken three times when serving. Whereas, Jelena once blew right through and realized two break points, making two double faults.
Through personal meetings, opponents became 2-0 in favor of an American. In the quarter finals of the tournament in Charleston, Keys will play with the American Sloane Stephens.
