The winner of the tournament in Miami, Australian Ashleigh Barty commented on the fact that all the biggest competitions of the season were won by young tennis players (no older than 22 years).
“The phenomenal result. It seems to me that women’s tennis has become stronger lately. The level of Top 20, 30, 40, 50 women has grown significantly. They can win titles without looking at their rivals. This is a real challenge for those in the Top 5 or Top 10. They have to make every effort to maintain their dominance.
