The second racket of the world, German Angelique Kerber, lost to Czech Petra Kvitova, who is in eighth place in the WTA ranking, with a score of 4/6, 1/6 in the quarter finals of the Sydney tournament.
The match lasted 1 hour and 23 minutes. During this time, 31-year-old Kerber never filed right through, made two double mistakes and made one break, and 28-year-old Kvitova completed four aces, once made a mistake when serving and implemented four break points.
