The sixth racket of the world, German Angelique Kerber, beat French Caroline Garcia, who occupies the 23rd line of the WTA rating, with a score of 6/3, 7/6 (5) in the quarterfinal of the tournament in Mallorca.
The meeting lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes. During this time, 31-year-old Kerber completed three aces, made a mistake five times in filing and sold four break points, and 25-year-old Garcia filed twice through, made three double mistakes and made two breaks.
