Anett Kontaveit is a professional tennis player from Estonia. She was born on December 24, 1995, and she turned pro in 2010. Kontaveit has been ranked as high as world No. 2 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). She first achieved this ranking on June 6, 2022. With her qualification for the 2021 WTA Finals, she became the first Estonian to participate in the tour’s year-end championships. Kontaveit has won six WTA singles titles, the most recent in St. Petersburg.
