The Polish tennis player, Hubert Hurkacz, had a great 2021 season. He managed to win three ATP titles, play in the Wimbledon semifinals, reach the semifinals at the Rolex Paris Masters and qualify for the final ATP Finals.
The tall Hubert Hurkacz has a serve that can reach 151 miles per hour (243 km/h). The Pole prefers to play all over the court, putting a lot of emphasis on defense. Experts call him a versatile player, as he’s good both defensively and offensively. He can hit clean shots both on the forehand and backhand. The Pole performs best on grass and hard courts, where he achieved the most wins in his career. The only thing he still lacks is stability, but other top-10 ATP players also have similar problems.

Yonex adds another chapter to the VCORE PRO 97! Just like previous models, this update will especially appeal to experienced tennis players looking for control, spin and speed.
For 2021, Yonex has modified the handle geometry to help the racquet flex more efficiently at ball impact. They also added a slightly thicker frame for more explosiveness and stability. On the inside of the headstock, Yonex added 2G-NAMD (Flex Force) to the graphite layer. It’s designed to help the frame return to position faster at impact. Other updates include Flex Fuse, which uses a soft polymer in the frame for more comfort.
Yonex’s defining technology remains the ISOMETRIC oval shape, which creates a wider sweetspot and greater forgiveness. As with the previous generation, this update includes VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh), a technology used in the handle to reduce unwanted vibration.
On forehands, this racquet moves much faster than the heavier 97H model used by Wawrinka. As such it is better for making running shots. It also offers great feel and the spin potential to close out shots with force. Overall, with this 2021 update to the VCORE PRO 97, Yonex has hit the mark. Intermediate and advanced tennis players looking for spin, speed and feel should seriously consider it.
