In the absence of Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev were considered the main favorites for ATP Paris in 2020. It seemed that they would play for the title in a head-to-head match, but the Spaniard stumbled in the 1/2 final against Alexander Zverev of Germany. The Russian was successful in defeating Canadian Milos Raonic. Zverev and Medvedev played very well in the final. In the second set the Russian took the lead and won another Masters in his career.
