The second racket of the world, Australian Ashleigh Barty, beat German Julia Goerges, who occupies the 19th line of the WTA ranking, with a score of 6/3, 7/5 in the final tournament in Birmingham.
The meeting lasted 1 hour 28 minutes. During this time, 23-year-old Barty completed nine aces, made a mistake once when serving and sold three break points, and 30-year-old Goerges filed seven times, made five double mistakes and made one break. Earlier in personal meetings was 1: 1.
