The second racket of the world, Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova, in the fourth final of the Miami Open competition, could not beat Australian Ashleigh Barty, who is 11th in the world ranking, 6/7 (6), 6/3, 2/6.
For 2 hours and 32 minutes of the match, Petra made five aces and four breaks, having made a mistake five times when serving. Whereas Ashleigh filed four times right through and implemented five break points, making six double faults.
Score in personal meetings, opponents became 4: 1 in favor of the Czech. In the quarterfinals of the tournament in Miami, Barty will play with the Estonian Anett Kontaveit.
Australian will finish the competition with the ninth racket of the world.
