WTA press service has published a list of contenders for the victory in the nomination “The best tennis player in January.” They included the winner of the Australian Open, Japanese Naomi Osaka and Czech Petra Kvitova, who won the trophy in Sydney and reached the final in Melbourne, and Karolina Pliskova, who won in Brisbane.
