The Jasmin Open is a professional tennis tournament that will be played at the Tennis Club de Monastir in Monastir, Tunisia. The event is scheduled to take place between October 3 and October 9, 2022. The tournament features a singles draw of 32 players and a doubles draw of 16 teams. The Jasmin Open was introduced in response to the cancellation of several WTA events in China due to the Peng Shuai sexual assault and disappearance controversy. It is currently part of the WTA Tour and is classified as a WTA 250 event. The tournament will feature many of the top female tennis players in the world and is sure to be an exciting event for both fans and players alike.
It’s the first edition of this tournament now, so we don’t have a defending champion.
