The WTA Tallinn Open is a professional tennis tournament that will be played on indoor hard courts at the FORUS Tennis Center in Tallinn, Estonia. The event is scheduled to take place between September 26 and October 2, 2022. It will be the first tournament in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA)’s history to be held in Tallinn and is organized as a WTA 250 event on the 2022 WTA Tour. The event is being organized primarily by the WTA due to the cancellation of tournaments in China during the 2022 season because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament will feature many of the top female tennis players in the world and is sure to be a exciting event for both fans and players alike.
Tallinn Open Prize Money
The WTA Tallinn Open is a new addition to the tennis calendar, with the event set to take place in Estonia in September 2022. The tournament will have a prize money pool of $251,750, with the winner earning €26,770 ($33,195). The runner-up will receive €15,922. This prize money is on par with other WTA 250 tournaments that have taken place this season.
