Fabio Fognini was born May 24, 1987 in San Remo, Italy. His father’s name is Fulvio and his mother is Silvana. The Italian has a sister, Fulvia. In 2016, the athlete married Italian tennis player Flavia Pennetta, and in 2017 the couple had a son Federico.
Fognini now resides in the commune of Taggio, Italy. The tennis player began his professional career in 2004. The following season, Fabio won two Futures, reached the semifinals at the Challenger and made his debut at the core of the ATP tournament. Fognini won his first title in 2013.
