The ninth racket of the world, Dutch tennis player Kiki Bertens, defeated Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals of the Sydney International competition – 6/2, 6/2.
For 1 hour and 1 minute of the match, Kiki made two aces and four breaks, making a mistake in filing once. Whereas Yulia did not make aces or breaks, making one double mistake. Through personal meetings, opponents became 5-1 in favor of the Dutch.
In the semifinals of the Sydney tournament, Bertens will play with Australian Ashleigh Barty.
