Russian tennis player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova failed to overcome the barrier of the 1/4 finals of the tournament in St. Petersburg, losing in three sets to Kiki Bertens from the Netherlands – 2/6, 6/3, 0/6.
The match lasted 1 hour and 31 minutes. The 32nd World No. 27, Pavlyuchenkova, 27, took the rival twice, made one ace and two double faults. Her age-mate Kiki, who ranks eighth in the WTA ranking, made six breaks and five aces, mistaken three times when serving.
