Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova broke the barrier of the 1/4 finals in Dubai, beating the Victoria Kuzmova in two sets – 6/4, 6/0.
The match lasted 1 hour and 2 minutes. The fourth racket of the world, 28-year-old Petra, made five breaks and two aces, making four wrong mistakes when serving. 20-year-old Kuzmova, who occupies the 46th position in the world classification, once took the opponent’s pitch, made one ace and three double mistakes.
Previously between the athletes have not met. In the semifinals of the tournament Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Kvitova will play with Karolina Pliskova .
