Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova made it to the 1/4 finals of the tournament in Madrid, beating Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia – 6/3, 6/3.
The fight lasted 1 hour and 16 minutes. The second racket of the world, 29-year-old Petra, recorded three breaks and five aces, making one mistake when serving. 25-year-old Caroline, ranked 22nd in the WTA ranking, made two aces and one double mistake.
Czech increased the gap in the personal meetings of athletes – 5: 3. In the quarterfinal of the competition Mutua Madrid Open Kvitova will play with Kiki Bertens.
