The fifth racket of the world, Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka, in the semifinals of the tournament in Brisbane, lost to Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, who ranks 27th in the world ranking, – 2/6, 4/6. For 1 hour 5 minutes of the match, Naomi made eight aces and twice made a mistake when serving. Whereas Lesia six times filed right through and implemented three break points, making two double faults. Through personal meetings, opponents became 2: 1 in favor of Osaka. In the finals of the Brisbane International competition, Tsurenko will play either against Donna Vekic from Croatia, or against Karolina Pliskova from Czech.
