Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka shared her expectations of meeting with American Serena Williams in the quarterfinals of the Toronto tournament.
“She is like my tennis mom. I grew up on Serena’s matches and admire her, so the opportunity to play with her is unique. I am sure that many will watch our meeting, and I hope that I can show good tennis.
It seems I’m passing Serena’s exam: “Look what I can do.” Her punches are very different from the rest. I can’t even compare them with some others. But I didn’t have many matches, so I think that at first I will be slightly struck by her game, “the press service of WTA quoted Osaka as saying.
