“Well, obviously, it didn’t go that well. I wasn’t myself on the court, I gave her too many chances. I wasn’t even pushing her with my game. It seemed like an easy match for her – but I have to give her credit, she took her chances. Emma plays fearlessly, she’s completely willing to take risks. In fact, she’s doing the right thing. She has nothing to lose, she enjoys the game” – said Sakkari after the match.
Maria was really good, getting to the semifinals of the US Open is a really good achievement for sure. The Greek player has a brighter, more exciting game, we think it’s because of the relationship between Sakkari and her boyfriend Konstantinos Mitsotakis.
Maria Sakkari Boyfriend is Konstantinos Mitsotakis
Greek tennis player Maria Sakkari has a high-profile boyfriend: Konstantinos Mitsotakis, son of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
“We met a year ago,” Sakkari said. – He’s a special guy, I always said. The relationship helped me play well in Paris. I had a much nicer time than when I was alone. He talks to me, he calms me down and supports me. He’s a simple guy. We’ve been dating for six months now. A simple relationship, nothing special. We even play tennis once in a while.” According to Saccari, her boyfriend is just a great tennis player, and he has a good serve. “Konstantinos is a very easy guy, I can talk to him for hours,” added the Greek. – He’s a very easy person to talk to.”
On the eve of the start of Roland Garros 2021, Konstantinos Mitsotakis completed his obligatory military service for Greeks – he did it on the Greek border with Turkey, with which Greece has very difficult relations.
The Prime Minister’s son enlisted in the artillery in September 2020. From there, Konstantinos Mitsotakis was transferred to Camp Ioannou in Evros.
