Swiss tennis player Belinda Bencic overcame the 1/4 final barrier in Mallorca, beating American Amanda Anisimova, – 6/2, 6/2.
The match lasted 1 hour and 2 minutes. The 13th racket of the world, 22-year-old Belinda, made six breaks and four aces, having made a mistake twice when serving. 17-year-old Anisimova, who occupies the 27th place in the WTA rating, twice took delivery of a rival, made one ace and eight double mistakes. Previously between the athletes have not met.
In the semifinals of the Mallorca Open competition, Bencic will play with either the French Caroline Garcia or the German Angelic Kerber.
