Ukrainian tennis player Lesia Tsurenko overcame the barrier of the quarter finals of the tournament in Brisbane, having outplayed Anett Kontaveit of Estonia in two sets – 7/5, 6/3.
For 1 hour 30 minutes, the 27th racket of the world, 29-year-old Lesia, made four breaks and two aces, making a mistake once when serving. The 23-year-old Kontaveit, which occupies the 20th place in the WTA rating, once took a rival’s filing, made two aces and two double faults.
