Eighth racket of the world, Dutch tennis player Kiki Bertens, in the semifinals of St. The Petersburg Ladies Trophy defeated Belarus Aryna Sabalenka, who is in 10th place in the world ranking, – 7/6 (5), 6/2.
During the match, Kiki made nine aces and four breaks, making a mistake six times when serving. Whereas Aryna doubled through and realized two break points, making four double faults.
Through personal meetings, opponents became 3-0 in favor of the Dutch. In the finals of the tournament in St. Petersburg, Bertens will play with either the Croatian Donna Vekic or the Russian Vera Zvonareva.
