The fourth racket of the world, the Dutch tennis player Kiki Bertens, in the second round of the competition Nature Valley International defeated Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan, which occupies 39th place in the world ranking, – 6/4, 6/1.
For 1 hour and 21 minutes of the match, Kiki made four aces and five breaks, making a double mistake when serving. Whereas Julia once made a match through and realized one break-point, making eight double mistakes.
Score in the personal meetings, opponents became 6: 1 in favor of the Dutch.
In the third round of the tournament in Eastbourne, Bertens will play German Anna-Lena Fridzam.
