Czech tennis player Karolina Pliskova overcame the barrier of the fourth round of the competition in Miami, beating Yuliya Putintseva from Kazakhstan – 2/6, 6/3, 7/5.
For 2 hours and 10 minutes of the match, the seventh racket of the world, 27-year-old Karolina, made six breaks and seven aces, making four wrong mistakes when serving. 24-year-old Putintseva, who occupies the 44th place in the WTA ranking, took a rival’s six times, made one ace and one double mistake.
Czech remains the leader in the personal meetings of athletes – 4: 1. In the 1/4 finals of the Miami Open tournament, Plushkova will fight with her compatriot Marketa Vondrousova.
