John Isner broke the second round barrier at the Masters in Indian Wells

The ninth racket of the world, American John Isner, prevailed over Australian Alexei Popyrin, occupying the 131st line of the ATP rating, with a score of 6/0, 6/2 in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open tournament.

Tennis players spent 54 minutes on the court. During this time, the 33-year-old Isner performed six aces, made a mistake once when applying and sold five break points, and the 19-year-old Popyrin once blew, made one double mistake and did not make a single break.

This was the first official meeting of athletes. In the third round of the “Masters” in Indian Wells Isner will fight with Argentine Guido Pella.
