Hamburg Alexander Zverev lost in the three-hour semi-final

The fifth racket of the world, German tennis player Alexander Zverev, in the semifinals of the Hamburg European Open competition lost to Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, who occupies 16th place in the world ranking, – 4/6, 6/4, 6/7 (5).

For 3 hours and 7 minutes of the match, Alexander made 14 aces and four breaks, mistaking nine times when filing. While Nikoloz four times filed through and implemented four break points, making nine double faults.

Score in the personal encounters of opponents became equal – 1: 1. In the final of the tournament in Hamburg, Basilashvili will play with Russian Andrey Rublev.
