French tennis player Gael Monfils broke the barrier of the quarterfinals of the competition in Rotterdam, beating the Bosnian Damir Dzumhur in two sets, – 6/1, 6/2.

The 33rd ATP rating number, 32-year-old Gael, recorded five breaks and four aces, erring three times when submitting. 26-year-old Dzumhur, occupying the 56th position in the world classification, once took the opponent’s submission and made one double mistake. In 1/2 of the final of the tournament, Monfils will play either with his compatriot Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, or with Russian Daniil Medvedev.
