Frances Tiafoe Career
The athlete was born on January 20, 98 in the American city of Maryland. Francis’ father worked as a handyman and security guard at the tennis center, so the boy had the opportunity to play and practice on real courts. At the age of five, Frances was enrolled in that academy and began serious tennis lessons.
At the adult level, Frances has been competing since the age of sixteen. He first took part in the ATP series championship where he was eliminated in the first round. A year later, the novice tennis player won his first professional tournament, defeating all opponents at the ITF Futures championship.
In 2016-2017, Frances won four ATP Challenger Series tournaments. Such successful performances allowed him to gain a foothold in the top 100 of the ATP rankings.
