Elina Svitolina, born on September 12, 1994, is a leading professional tennis player hailing from Ukraine. Over her career, she’s attained remarkable heights, including reaching the world No. 3 position in singles rankings and winning 17 WTA Tour singles titles. Svitolina made history by becoming the first Ukrainian woman to break into the world’s top 10 tennis rankings, surpassing her compatriot Alona Bondarenko. Svitolina’s game is defined by consistency and moderation. Her groundstrokes, while not the most powerful, are reliable and land deep into the court.
