The sixth racket of the world, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina, in the quarterfinal of the BNP Paribas Open competition defeated Czech Marketa Vondrousova, who holds the 61st place in the world ranking, – 4/6, 6/4, 6/4.
For 2 hours and 11 minutes of the match, Elina made three aces and six breaks, making a mistake in filing once. Whereas, Marketa served right through twice and implemented five break points, making five double faults.
Through personal meetings, opponents became 3-0 in favor of Ukrainian. In the semifinals of the tournament in Indian Wells, Svitolina will play with Canadian Bianca Andreescu.
