The third racket of the world, Czech tennis player Karolina Pliskova, defeated Russian woman Ekaterina Aleksandrova, who is in 52nd place in the world ranking, in the quarter finals of the Nature Valley International competition – 6/2, 6/0.
For 52 minutes of the match, Karolina made six aces and five breaks, having mistaken three times when serving. Whereas Ekaterina filed three times through and made five double mistakes. Score in the personal meetings, opponents became 2-0 in favor of the Czech.
In the semifinals of the tournament in Eastbourne Pliskova will play with the Dutch Kiki Bertens.
