Slovakian tennis player Dominika Cibulkova failed to overcome the barrier of the first round of the tournament in Stuttgart, losing to Belgian Greetje Minnen – 5/7, 3/6.
For 1 hour and 31 minutes of the match, the 33rd World No. 29, Dominika, 29, took the opponent’s pitch twice, made one ace and four double mistakes. 21-year-old Greetje, who occupies the 192nd position in the world classification, has recorded five breaks and ten aces, once she made a mistake when serving.
Previously between the athletes have not met. In the second round of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, Minnen faced off with Czech Petra Kvitova.
