Dominic Thiem won the third round match of the BNP Paribas Open competition.

The eighth racket of the world, Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem, defeated Frenchman Gilles Simon in the third round of the tournament in Indian Wells – 6/3, 6/1.

For 1 hour and 7 minutes of the match, Dominic made two aces and five breaks, never making a mistake when serving. Whereas Gilles realized one break point, making two double faults.

Through personal meetings of opponents was 9: 2 in favor of the Austrian. In the fourth round of the BNP Paribas Open, Thiem will play with Croatian Ivo Karlovic.
