Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska shared her impressions of winning the title at the tournament in Hua Hin .
“The match was not easy for me. In the first set I showed my maximum, but in the second I felt that I could not play at the same level. I didn’t know what to do, I tried my best, but I felt empty. But losing 2 / 5 in the third set, I remembered something, it happened even before this tournament, but it gave me strength and helped to achieve victory. Now I do not think about the rating.
For me it is more important to constantly improve my game and gain experience. If I play at a high level, I earn points and rise in the ranking. However, the rating itself is not a priority. Of course, I am glad to enter the Top 40, “the WTA press service reports.
