American tennis player Cori Gauff shared the emotions of winning the competition in Linz.
“I’m just in shock. This is my first WTA trophy. Some kind of madness. Of course, at the start of the season I didn’t think that I would play here. I didn’t believe that I would be in the base. And now I’m the champion. Crazy.
But I hit the main grid as a lucky-loser. Before the first round, my father told me that you can’t lose twice in the same competition. In the end, he was right.
Halloween is soon one of my favorite holidays. Now I can make good money on the suit. Last year, the WTA held a competition, I took third place there. This time I want to win, ” WTA quoted Gauff as saying.
