Czech tennis player Karolina Pliskova broke the barrier of the quarterfinals of the tournament in Brisbane, beating the Australian Ajla Tomljanovic in three sets, – 6/1, 1/6, 6/1.
For 1 hour and 23 minutes of the match, the eighth racket of the world, 26-year-old Karolina, made four breaks and 14 aces, making a mistake once. The 25-year-old Tomljanovic, who is in 46th place in the world classification, took the opponent’s bid twice, made one ace and seven double mistakes.
